Chris Doleman (NFL the hall of famer) Died At 58

Chris Doleman which is also known as the hall of fame defensive who became one of the NFL’s most dangerous pass rushers during 15 seasons in the league has dies at 58 on January 28, 2020.

Many people show condolences in their own statements on last tuesday night. Some of them are Minnesota Vikings and pro football hall of fame president and CEO David Baker and many more.

There were no information regarding his death before. But in January of 2018 he had a surgery for brain tumor. He said ” after a prolonged and courageous battle against cancer”

He also said ” I had the honor of getting to know him not only as a great football player but an outstanding human being One of the honors of my life was witnessing Chris get baptized in the Jordan River during a Hall of Fame trip to Israel. The legacy of Chris Doleman will live forever in Canton, Ohio, for generations to learn from how he lived a life of courage and character.”

He played a college ball for pittsburgh before and he got selected by Minnesota in the first round of NFL draft 1985. He also spent his first nine seasons with the vikings and able to collect a league high 21 sacks in 1989.

The height of Doleman is 6 foot 5 which helped him to play more effectively . He also played for Atlanta and San Francisco before career with Minnesota in 1999. He also made eight Pro Bowls and he had 150 1/2 sacks in 232 games. He was also the first team all pro selection on two occasions.

Vikings said “Chris was a great example for players past and present, as he embodied all the best characteristics of a Viking — resilience, toughness and a competitive spirit, Chris always carried himself with dignity and class. Vikings fans worldwide will greatly miss him.” ”
