The Aggretsuko anime’s fifth season will debut in February 2023, according to the Netflix Tudum Japan livestream event on Sunday. The next season of the anime will be its last. Red panda Retsuko, 25, works in the accounting division of the business of her dreams. She is, nonetheless, driven by her supervisors and coworkers to keep completing more difficult duties. She doesn’t respond to them, but she still has to vent, so she ends up singing death metal at karaoke by herself.
The character’s initial animation (which came before the Netflix anime) debuted in April 2016 as part of the -sama no Brunch TBS Saturday morning show. New one-minute episodes were broadcast each week until March 2018.
In April 2018, Netflix’s initial 10-episode season had its global release. Scripts for the first Netflix season were written by Rareko, who previously helmed the previous Agressive Retsuko anime and Yawaraka Sensha.
A Christmas episode of the Netflix anime launched in December 2018, and the second season followed in June 2019. In August 2020, Netflix’s third season made its premiere.
