The Way of the Househusband (Gokushufud) anime adaptation by Kousuke Oono is receiving a second season, which will debut in January 2023, according to the Netflix Tudum Japan livestream event on Sunday. Both the actors and the staff will be back for the upcoming season.

In April 2021, the first five episodes of the anime were released on Netflix in all countries. In October 2021, Netflix officially launched the second installment.

On the Kurage Bunch website of Shinchosha, Oono debuted the manga in February 2018, and on July 7, Shinchosha released the tenth volume. The eighth volume of the English-language manga, which is published by Viz Media, was made available on August 16.

In October 2020, a live-action television series based on the manga debuted. The first of a six-part epilogue special debuted on May 27. On June 3, a live-action movie adaption then debuted in Japan.
