The second season of the Tsurune television anime, Tsurune: Tsunagari no Issha (Tsurune: The Connecting Arrow), will start and close with the songs “°C” (pronounced “Do-Si”) by Luck Life and “Hitominaka” by Tei, according to the official website for the show.
January 2023 will mark the anime’s debut.
Eisuke Nikaid will be played by Jun Fukuyama in the anime (name romanization not confirmed). Both Kensho Ono and Yto Uemura, who play Minato Narumiya and Sh Fujiwara respectively, are returning cast members. The next season will be directed by Takuya Yamamura again.
On the NHK-General channel in Japan, the first anime television series debuted in October 2018. As the anime was shown in Japan, Sentai Filmworks obtained the rights to it and streamed the series on HIDIVE and Crunchyroll (with an English dub). In January 2020, Sentai Filmworks made the anime available on home video. An original video animation with an unaired 14th episode was included in the disc.

In the first chapter, Minato Narumiya is starting his freshman year in the neighborhood Kazemai High School.
Mr. Tommy, the Japanese archery Club’s adviser, is eager to enlist Minato as well as Ryohei Yamanouchi and Seiya Takehaya, two of his boyhood pals. At the Club’s orientation, where he also meets Kaito Onogi and Nanao Kisaragi, Ryohei persuades Minato to attend despite his reluctance. Mr. Tommy singles out Minato and presents him as a unique Japanese archery skill before asking him to perform in front of everyone. However, Minato’s arrow misses the target as a result of a severe illness… Kaito, Nanao, Seiya, Ryohei, and Minato. Their common interest is Japanese archery. As they battle through their lovely but “bitter” youth, what will they achieve?
The Gekijban Tsurune: Hajimari no Issha The movie The First Arrow) premiered on August 19 in Japan. To helm the movie at Kyoto Animation, Takuya Yamamura made a comeback. In collaboration with television anime scriptwriter Michiko Yokote, Yamamura also authored the script. Character designer Miku Kadowaki is back. The composer was replaced by Masaru Yokoyama (Your Lie in April, new Fruits Basket anime).
The manga series is based on the same-titled book by Kotoko Ayano.
