Kumo Kagyu (Goblin Slayer) will soon publish a new manga named Moscow 2160 in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine, according to a tweet from the publication’s official Twitter account on Thursday. The manga is illustrated by Ktar Sekine (Ninja Slayer Kills). Noboru Kannatsuki, the artist of Goblin Slayer, is creating the character designs.
According to the plot, the Cold War has lasted for 200 years. There is a “cleaner” in this world of mechanical rogues and plots.
Ksuke Kurose (The IDOLM@STER Neue Green for Dearly Stars) began a running manga adaptation in Big Gangan in May 2016, while SB Creative released the first volume of Kumo Kagyu’s Goblin Slayer dark fantasy novel series in February 2016. Both the Goblin Slayer books by Kumo Kagyu and the manga adaptation by Ksuke Kurose have been licenced by Yen Press. Manga series and spin-off books were inspired by the novels.
The anime television series debuted in Japan in October 2018, and Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired with subtitles. The series was also available for streaming on Funimation in English.
A second season of the anime will air.
