The last chapter of the second arc of Yoshitoki Immanga a’s To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) was released on Wednesday in the 47th edition of Kodansha’s Weekly Shnen Magazine for this year. The third arc will start on January 25 in the magazine’s eighth issue of 2023, according to the issue’s other revelation.
The manga, which is being published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, gives the following synopsis of the plot:
A new manga from the famed A Silent Voice author, with a time-and-space-spanning epic tale and personal, dramatic drama… The two become good friends and rely on one another to survive the hostile environment when a lonely youngster traveling the Arctic areas of North America encounters a wolf. But the youngster has a past, and the wolf is also not what he seems to be… To Your Eternity is a completely original and profound manga about life, death, rebirth, and the essence of love.
In parallel with its Japanese publication, Crunchyroll is also making the manga available online in English.
The manga was first published in Weekly Shnen Magazine in November 2016 by Ima. the second arc of the manga began in January 2020 after the first arc’s conclusion in December 2019. In May 2019, the manga received the Best Shnen Manga prize at the 43rd Kodansha Manga Awards. The manga was also included in the 2019 list of Outstanding Graphic Novels for Teens published by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA).
A television anime based on the manga debuted its first season in April 2021. Beginning on October 23, the second season will air.
