For the One Piece Odyssey game for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Sony started broadcasting a seven-minute gameplay video on Saturday. The Alabasta region is the subject of the video.
The game’s January 13, 2023 release date has been postponed from its initial 2022 schedule. On January 12, the game will be live on Steam for PC.
Pre-orders may be made through the following channels with Bandai Namco Entertainment:
- Standard Edition: This includes the One Piece Odyssey game’s core content Deluxe Edition: This includes the game’s core content as well as the Deluxe Pack (two jewelry items, the Sniper King travel outfit), the Adventure Expansion Pack (one ultra-useful accessory set, additional story DLC, 100,000 berries, and a pre-order bonus), and a Pre-Order Bonus (10x Energy Apples, 10x Excite Apples, 3x Golden Jellies, 100,000 Berries, and the Traveling Outfit set)
- The Bandai Namco Store is the only place to purchase the Limited Edition Bundle. This bundle has the basic game, a limited-edition figure of Luffy and Lim (measuring 23 by 21 by 21 cm), plus a Pre-Order Bonus (10x Energy Apples, 10x Excite Apples, 3x Golden Jellies, 100,000 Berries, and the Traveling Outfit set)
The JRPG is being made by Bandai Namco Entertainment and is being developed by ILCA (Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl). The plot and character/monster designs are ascribed to the writer of the original manga, Eiichiro Oda. The soundtrack is being composed by Motoi Sakuraba (Tales of series).
Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of the One Piece manga, is a young pirate with aspirations of obtaining the fabled “One Piece” riches that a famous pirate is said to have left behind. In addition to battling other pirates and government warships, he collects a crew and a ship and traverses the Grand Line in pursuit of the wealth.
