Rihito Itagaki is cast in the live-action version of “And Yet, You Are So Sweet.”

Rihito Itagaki, who played Subaru in The Lonely Castle in the Mirror and Norman in the live-action version of The Promised Neverland, will play Sma Tezuka, a Maaya’s classmate who has a crush on her and Chigira’s rival, in the live-action adaptation of Kujira Anan’s manga And Yet, You Are So Sweet (Na no ni, Chigira-kun ga Amasugir

Mei Hata, who played the lead role of Maaya Kisaragi in the live-action version of Wasteful Days of High School Girls, will portray Sui Chigira, while Kyhei Takahashi, a member of the Naniwa Danshi idol unit, will play Maaya Kisaragi.

On March 3, 2023, the movie will premiere in Japan.

The movie is being directed by Takehiko Shinj, while Haruka Kita wrote the script.
