Boku-tachi no Remake (Remake Our Life!) by Nachi Kio and Eretto, a series of light novels, published its 11th book on Thursday, revealing that the series will conclude with the 12th volume in 2023.
With the eleventh volume, the series’ “final arc” began.
Kyya Hashiba, a failed game director, is the main character of the narrative. When his business fails, he is forced to move back in with his parents. He considers the accomplished artists of his time as he is lying in bed. When Kyya opens his eyes, he discovers that he has returned to the moment when he first entered college, which was ten years ago. As a student at an arts college, he has the chance to start again in life. He currently resides in a four-person, coed shared residence. Kyya gets the chance to spend his formative years with creators he knows will become well-known in the future, but events might not go as he had hoped.
With drawings by Eretto, Kio released the first book of the novel series in March 2017. According to Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!) guidebook, the books were rated at #6 for 2018 while the series was at #7 for 2019.
A television anime adaptation based on the novels debuted in July 2021. As the anime aired in Japan, Crunchyroll streamed it. On August 3, Crunchyroll started to stream an English dub of the anime.
Under November 2018, Bonjin Hirameki debuted a manga adaption on the Nico Nico Seiga service in Kodansha’s Suiybi no Sirius (Wednesday Sirius) section. September 2019 saw the manga’s transition to Magazine Pocket. As of April 4, the manga was over. The manga’s seventh and last collected book volume was released on May 9 by Kodansha.
