Make My Day anime film will be available on Netflix in February 2023, according to the Netflix Tudum Japan livestream event on Sunday.
The primary cast, fresh screenshots, and an illustration of Casper the two-legged robot’s mechanical design were also presented during the event.
Both Yasuo Ohtagaki and Shoji Kawamori contributed to the initial design.
Stars of the anime include Akio Ohtsuka as Commander Bark, Ayahi Takagaki as Marie, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Walter, and Masaomi Yamahashi as Jim.
The movie is an adaptation of a manga author named Yasuo Ohtagaki’s original narrative (Moonlight Mile, Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt). The movie is being directed by Makoto Honda, while character designs and animation are being provided by Taiwanese 3D CG company 5 Inc.
The script was written by Yumiko Yoshizawa.
The movie’s mechanical designers include Macross mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori and Flip Flappers, FLCL Progressive, and FLCL Alternative mechanical designer Kiyotaka Oshiyama.
The score is being written by Kensuke Ushio.

Unknown monsters have unexpectedly surfaced from the shadowy depths of a planet covered in ice and snow, attacking the locals. Can the human race escape the danger that looms over the horizon?
Netflix had said in February 2020 that it was teaming up with a number of producers, including Ohtagaki, to increase the selection of anime shows available.
