The game was release on Wii Console in November 18, 2011 by Nintendo. Yet, The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword switch version of the game has not been offficially revealed by Nintendo.

In March 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is released. It is the latest main game in this series released by Nintendo for the Switch. A sequel to the game is developing by Nintendo.
