The brand-new short animation Uma Yuru will make its YouTube premiere on October 16 at 9:00 p.m. JST, according to the official website for the Uma Musume Pretty Derby series, which made the announcement on Tuesday. The first three episodes will air all at once, and subsequent episodes will stream every Sunday at 9:00 p.m.

At Scooter Films, Seiya Miyajima (Umayon) is in charge of the series’ direction and character design. The scenario director is Tetsuya Kobari, while the scenario supervisor is Seiga Kajisaki. The composition of the series is being handled by Yoko Yonaiyama (The Ancient Magus’ Bride). The script is being written by Komi Can’t Communicate writers Yumi Suzumori and Seiichir Mochizuki. The supervisor of character design is Minami Kiyonaga. The director of photography is Tasuku Ozu, while the art director is Masanori Yamaguchi (Sweetness & Lightning). Tetsuya Uchida (Umayon) is the music’s producer. The sound director is Naofumi Jinbo (Pucchimiku D4DJ Petit Mix). Takuma Akitsu is the director of content. .
In February 2021, the Uma Musume Pretty Derby app and game were released for iOS and Android. Originally scheduled for release in Winter 2018, the game was postponed to improve its quality. In March 2021, DMM Games released the game on PC.
Uma Musume (Horse Girls), girls with exceptional sprinting prowess who want to become top idols and participate in the national sporting entertainment program “Twinkle Series,” are the game’s starting point.
