The Season 3 Trailer for Mob Psycho 100 Anime Features Ritsu

Wednesday saw the launch of a character marketing video from Warner Bros. Japan for Mob Psycho 100 III, the third season of the television anime adaptation of ONE’s Mob Psycho 100 manga. Ritsu Kageyama, who appeared in the anime’s first two seasons, is highlighted in the following clips:

The anime will make its Japanese television debut on October 5 on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, and on October 7 on Cartoon Network.

Aside from Asia, Crunchyroll will broadcast the anime in its original Japanese with English subtitles and dub when it airs in Japan. Earlier this month, the first two episodes were shown at Crunchyroll Expo.

As Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, Arataka Reigen, Ekubo, Ritsu Kageyama, and Teruki Hanazawa, Setsuo Ito, Takahiro Sakurai, Akio Ohtsuka, Miyu Irino, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, respectively, are repeating their roles.

Former director of the anime Yuzuru Tachikawa is now listed as executive director, while Takahiro Hasui (director of the episodes of Bungo Stray Dogs and Sk8 the Infinity) as the new director. For the creation of the series, Hiroshi Seko is back. Returning as character designer, sound director, and composer, respectively, are Yoshimichi Kameda, Kazuhiro Wakabayashi, and Kenji Kawai. The art director from the previous seasons, Ry Kno, as well as the colour designer, Shihoko Nakayama, the director of photography, Mayuku Furumoto, and the editor, Kiyoshi Hirose, all return.

The anime’s opening and closing themes, “1” and “Cobalt,” will be performed by MOB CHOIR once more.

The Mob Psycho 100 series was first published in 2012 on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday service and then in 2014 on Shogakukan’s Manga ONE app by the original manga writer ONE (One-Punch Man). In December 2017, he called the series a wrap. In April 2018, Shogakukan released the sixteenth and last volume of the manga’s compilation book. The manga and the Mob Psycho 100: Reigen offshoot manga are both published in English by Dark Horse Comics.

The anime’s first season debuted in Japan in July 2016, and the second season did the same in January 2019.

As both shows were shown in Japan, Crunchyroll streamed them.

English dubs for the anime were broadcast by Funimation, and both shows were made available on home video. In October 2018, the first season of the first series began airing on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block.

In March 2018, Crunchyroll began streaming the Mob Psycho 100 REIGEN: The Miraculous Unknown Psychic event anime. Later, the anime with a dub was broadcast on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

A live-action series based on the manga debuted on Netflix in Japan in January 2018 and outside of Japan in May 2018.

The first stage adaptation of the manga debuted in January 2018, while the second one debuted in September 2018. In August 2021, a third stage play was performed.
