At the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event on Saturday, Aniplex debuted a new promotional trailer for the television anime adaptation of Hajime Kmoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga.
Chiaki Kobayashi will portray Mashle in the anime, according to the trailer.
The cast of the musical was also made public at the ceremony.
The anime is being directed by Tomoya Tanaka (Engage Kiss, Visual Prison) at A-1 Pictures.
The character designers are Hisashi Toshima (key animation on Tada Never Falls in Love) and Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia all six seasons, Mobile Suit Gundam 00).
The soundtrack is being composed by Masaru Yokoyama (2019 Fruits Basket, Astra Lost in Space).
It is stated that the anime adaptation is “complete” and that it will debut in 2023.
With the release of the manga’s 12th volume on July 4, the story’s final arc began. The thirteenth book will be out on October 4.
The manga is being released digitally in English through the Shonen Jump and MANGA Plus services from Viz Media and Shueisha, respectively.
