Thursday’s Resident Evil Showcase webcast featured a new story trailer for “The Winters’ Expansion,” CAPCOM’s future DLC for its Resident Evil Village game. The expansion’s premiere is set on October 28. Three additional playable characters for the game’s Mercenaries mode and a new “Shadows of Rose” scenario taking place 16 years after the events of the original game are also included in the expansion.
On the same October 28 release date, Resident Evil Village will also receive a new Gold Edition. The original game, the Winters’ Expansion, and the Resident Evil Re:Verse multiplayer game, which launches on the same day, will all be included in the Gold Edition.
