Last Friday, the October issue of Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine revealed that the Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Comic: Episode of Heartslabyul manga by Wakana Hazuki and Sumire Kowono will conclude with its next chapter in the magazine’s next issue on October 18.
On July 27, the third volume of the manga’s collected book made it known that the fourth volume, due out this winter, will be the last.
The manga, which initially adapted the primary plot of the Disney Twisted-Wonderland mobile game, debuted in Monthly G Fantasy in March 2021.
The franchise previously released a manga anthology volume in November 2020 that had tales by many authors. April 2021 saw the release of the second manga anthology.
The game debuted in Japan in March 2020 and went on sale for iOS and Android devices on January 20 in the US and Canada.
The game’s basic idea, plot, and character designs were handled by Yana Toboso, the creator of the Black Butler manga.
The game’s opening video was created by TROYCA, and Night Ravels sang the opening theme song, “Piece of my universe.”
As a “villains academy adventure game” with rhythm game features and combat, the game features characters that are based on Disney villains.
The tale of the game starts when the main character is transported to a different world by a magic mirror. The main character then enters “Night Ravens College,” a prominent magic training facility. With nowhere else to turn, the main character accepts the disguised headmaster’s offer of safety and, while attempting to find a way home, gets to know the school’s refractory but brilliant students.
Seven dorms are available at Night Ravens College. Characters from several Disney productions, such as Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Snow White, Hercules, The Lion King, and Sleeping Beauty, served as the inspiration for each dorm.
The anime version of the game was announced by the Disney Plus subscription service in October 2021.
