After COVID-19 Delay, Kingdom Anime Season 3 Slated to Resume in Spring

The Kingdom Anime official website has announced on this Monday that the third season will be slated to resume its broadcast in spring 2021.

Schedule Reason

On April 26, the anime’s production committee announced that there will be delay in the broadcast of episodes 5 and later episode of the third season. Due to Japanese Govvernment state of emergency declaration because of the new Coronavirus disease (COVID – 19) there was a great impact in the production schedule and due to which they have to schedule the episode’s.

About Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom Season 3

Th Yashuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga anime third season was premiered on NHK General on April 5 at 24:15. In Japan, Funimation was streaming the anime as it airs.

Plot

The manga was centered around the slave boy Xin. His dream was to become a great general for the state of Qin. Xin helps Ying Zheng, the young Qin king who shares his desire to unify China, rise to power within the state. Xin does all he can to become a superior commander of an army capable of defeating the Seven Warring States.

Manga And Anime

In 2006, the record settling manga was launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. Hara announced that he is considering in writing up to 100 volumes. In 2012, a television anime adaptation was premiered and in 2013 the second season of the anime was premiered. In North America, the anime was streamed by the Funimation which alse released the anime on DVD in 2016.

The manga was inspired a live action film adaptation by Shinsuke Sato that was opened in Japan in last April. In August 2019, Funimation began screening the film in theaters in the United States and Canada.
