NEO: The World Ends with You, the new follow-up to the action role-playing game The World Ends with You, has been made available on PC via Steam, according to a statement posted on Wednesday by Square Enix. To mark the announcement, the firm shared a fresh image:
On July 27, the game became available in English and Japanese for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. For September 28, it was released on PC via the Epic Games Store.
As stated by Square Enix, the game is
Players of NEO: The World Ends with You will be sent to the Shibuya neighborhood where they will participate in the “Reapers’ Game,” a life-or-death struggle for survival. Players will assume the character of Rindo as they go into the heart of Tokyo in search of answers about the mysterious Game that they are being compelled to play.
In a distinctive and comic-inspired manner, NEO: The World Ends with You recreates contemporary Shibuya. In addition to exploring and taking in the sights, sounds, and culture of this vibrant city, players may engage in fast-paced action battles with their buddy friends while taking on tasks to try to alter their predetermined course.

- Chiharu Sawashiro as Fret
- Mina Katahira as Nagi
- Takayuki Fujimoto as Minamimoto
- Daiki Hamano as Game Master Shiba
The original The World Ends with You video game was created by Jupiter and Square Enix and released on the Nintendo DS in Japan in 2007 and the West in 2008. In 2012, h.a.n.d’s smartphone game, The World Ends with You -Solo Remix, was released for iOS devices. In 2014, Android devices received the game. The World Ends with You -Final Remix- game for the Nintendo Switch was released in the West in October 2018 after shipping to Japan in September 2018. In the Kingdom Hearts video game series, characters from the game franchise are also included.
The anime version of The World Ends with You, “Subarashiki Kono Sekai,” was inspired by the original video game. April 9 saw the debut of the anime.
Three years after the conclusion of the anime, NEO: The World Ends with You takes place.
