The “Magic x Idol” multimedia initiative by KLab and Kadokawa’s official website for the smartphone game is called Lapis. The game’s service will stop on October 31 at 3:00 p.m. JST, Re:LiGHTs stated on Wednesday.

The 31st of August marks the end of “Shiny Stone” currency sales. Between October 31 and December 31, customers can get refunds on leftover currency.

The game debuted in December.

A television anime with a July 2020 launch was inspired by the property.

As the anime aired in Japan, Funimation streamed it.

Lapis Re:LiGHTs Kono Sekai no Idol wa Mah ga Tsukaeru, the project’s full title, contains the theme (The idols in this world can use magic). The plot is written by “Asa no Hajime,” while U35 is responsible for character design. Zuji is contributing concept art, and Yoshitaka Murayama is working on the worldview setting.

Along with games and anime, the brand also serves as an inspiration for live performances and novels. Manga for the franchise was first published in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in October 2019 and finished in January 2021 by artists Hiroichi (High School DxD: Asia & Koneko’s Secret Contract!) and Shingo Nagai.
