Added cast members and a fresh key image for the second season of Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro, the anime adaptation of Nanashi’s Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) manga, were made public on Friday (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack).
The new cast members are:
- Yoshino Nanjō as Anetoro (Hayase Nagatoro’s big sister)
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Sunomiya
- Kaori Maeda as Orihara
A recurring primary cast will be present when the new season debuts in January 2023.
The animation at OLM is being directed by Shinji Ushiro (Ykai Watch).
The series scripts will be overseen by Taku Kishimoto (ERASED, 2019’s Fruits Basket, Haikyu!).
The characters will once more be designed by Misaki Suzuki (sub-character designs on Lupin the Third: Part 5, Tari Tari), and the music will once more be composed by Gin (Busted Rose) from Pop Team Epic and Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher?
The manga is published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, and it is described as a romantic comedy:
In her first year of high school, Nagatoro enjoys tormenting and tease her older male classmate. Why does Senpai tolerate her behavior, and what drives her? Does Nagatoro simply want to make Senpai miserable? Or perhaps she has a crush on him?
The first season of Telecom Animation Film was directed by Dances with the Dragons’ Hirokazu Hanai. April 2021 saw the debut of the inaugural anime season. As the season premiered in Japan, Crunchyroll streamed it.
In November 2017, Nanashi released the continuing manga on the Magazine Pocket website of Kodansha.
