With a limited-edition burger influenced by the Sailor Moon television series, the Japanese fast food business Mos Burger is commemorating the annual moon-viewing (Tsukimi) holiday in Japan.

Tsukimi hot spring eggs and a crescent-shaped horseshoe-shaped sausage are used in the Tsukimi Foccacia burger. The name “Moonlight Romance” refers to this combination and the famous “Moonlight Densetsu” opening theme tune.

On September 14, the new burger will be available in Japanese retailers. A TV commercial featuring Kotono Mitsuishi, who plays Usagi, will also debut on that day. The 15-second advertisement for Mos Burger is already available on YouTube:

Mitsuishi in the advertisement parodies Usagi’s tagline, “In the name of the moon, I will punish you!” by stating, “In the name of the moon-viewing, I will taste you!”
